weird juju

This is our feral cat, Junior, (Ryan & I took him from the great outdoors... er, backyard... when he was a kitten).

Whenever Ryan leaves his army stuff out, Juju specifically looks for the nylon materials to play with. He's such a weird cat. (There WAS a video of him sliding across the kitchen floor by throwing himself on it a nylon blanket, but I lost it... sorry.)

Roloff Farm... Again!

Our laptop is acting extremely bizarre. The other day it wouldn't boot up, stating there wasn't a hard drive! So posts will probaby be far and few until we figure out why the computer's being stupid.

Ryan & I went to the Roloff Farm with Joe and his girlfriend, Kara. Ryan and Joe were at Fort Benning and Fort Knox together.

Maybe this will give you an idea of how long of a wait we had to tour the farm. It felt like we were at an amusement park.

Joe & Kara... Joe thinks he's funny; he kept making funny faces while their picture was taken.

Ryan, having too much fun.

Afterwards, we carved pumpkins with the Oakes.

Dax & Libby were angry that they didn't get to go.

Ferries... or Fairies?

Since Ryan & Mabry had never been on a ferry before, we thought today would be a good day to go to Seattle.
This was our view from the ferry.
And this was our view from the car.
Seriously, I don't know what their deal was... weirdos. We got this crazy idea that we could feed the seagulls popcorn.
What were we thinking?!No ferry ride is complete without a Captain Morgan pose.

We had a good time.

After the ferry, we went to Snoqualmie Falls, but it was way too misty for me to take any photos. Then we ate out at Chilis for Dan's birthday dinner. Happy Birthday Dan on the 26th!

I want my burger to sizzle!

Haven't posted in a few days, so I thought I'd just put up some random photos. I apologize in advance if any of them (---------->)
disturb you in any way.

Just for comparison, here's an old picture of Ryan & Mabry when she was six days old.

Now, here she is at 39 days old.
Jess & I attended a Baby Shower for pregs and new mothers on post. We each won a prize and were real close to winning other games. I think the ladies at our table were jealous & possibly suspicious, but seriously, we can't help it if we know everything.

Chief Mitchell's house (directly across the street from us)... go ahead, laugh out loud. The thing you have to remember is Thanksgiving and BETTER YET Christmas are just around the corner. Ryan & I are anticipating some major wattage.

And then there's our house...
Dan & Jess at our house (on our NEW furniture) exhausted.

Roloff Farm

After the furniture was delivered Saturday, The Oakes & I went down to Portland. We toured the Roloff Farm and then ate at Old Chicago.

Mabry was super excited. She could hardly contain herself.

Once you turn down the main highway that leads to their farm, you start seeing pumpkin signs posted on telephone poles.

When we arrived, Matt Roloff was directing where everyone should park. Jess & I had our cameras out & ready, anticipating any picture we could possibly get. But once we saw him, our jaws literally dropped and we were motionless, awe-struck that we had actually seen him.
Camera crews were on the farm, filming for TLC. The season premieres Monday.

We were able to see all the family members, except Molly, their daughter. (Even Jeremy's girlfriend was on site. The only people we didn't see at the farm were Matt's parents, Ron & Peggy.)

Amy was so nice. She took as many pictures as people requested.

When duty calls...

Here are some miscellaneous photos of the farm.

This is their new multi-court.

This was such a fun day! We're hoping it can become our tradition to visit the Roloff Farm every year while we're in the Northwest.

Road Rage

Here are some pictures I forgot to post from our week with Randy & Renee. The dogs really miss the daily walks.
When Renee & I went to the PX, there was a really clear view of the mountain.

On another note... It took me nearly twenty minutes to drive less than four miles today. Granted, it was during rush hour, but here's a picture of the bumper to bumper traffic which might give you an idea of why I wanted to inflict some serious road rage on someone.
