Ask and ye shall receive!
One of our first pictures of her. We first thought she had red hair, but now it's a light brown.
Her first bath.
The nurse outfitted Elayna with this CUTE John Deere blanket and knitted hat. (It must have been because of Ryan's Southern accent.)
He's such a good Daddy. I can't tell you how much they love each other. She immediately calms down when he takes her. He's got the magic touch, in addition to being Super-Daddy and Husband. He insists on doing EVERYTHING.
This is Andrea, Colonel Clark's wife. We also worship with them at Lakeview Church of Christ.
Getting ready to go home!
Jess & Mabry visited us the other day. Ryan & Mabry are watching Sesame Street.
Elayna LOVES her swing. (And so do we!)
She has some of the cutest and craziest facial expressions. She gives us the I'm-tough-Don't-mess-with-me expression often.
Yawn!
She's got Ryan's toes. You can kinda see a few of her MANY needle pokes and bruises from an attempted IV stick. (They stuck her all over her hands, feet, and head. And never did get it.)
Are those not the chubbiest cheeks you've ever seen?
First home bath.
Real men wear pink boppies.
Getting ready to go to her follow up appointment.

OUCH
Just follow these steps:

I've taken a few pictures since we've been home. I'll post them as soon as I can. Our first priority is survival. This child is nocturnal and Ryan & I may have to become night owls as well if we intend to live through parenthood. Just wanted to get on blogger and let yall know we really appreciate everyone's calls, comments, and helpful offers. Things are progressing. Everything's... healing. (Yes, I think that would be a good universal word to describe the conditions of all three of us.) I'll try to get on again soon. Later!
